I took some friends here last Sunday and I have to say I was very disappointed. They have changed the menu and the shrimp and grits are terrible, so spicy and floating in butter I ended up only eating about 1/4 of it. Oyster on the 1/2 shell were $30 a dozen and the oysters were about the size of 1/2 a teaspoon, the smallest oysters I've ever seen. I ate here in 2020 and it was great, brought another friend after that and again the food was great. They must have changed owners and changed the menu which is sad because I feel they have lost alot of customers and I'm one of them. I was really looking forward to good shrimp and grits but only got disappointed.
Went to this place based on some of the reviews I read. They were slow getting us seated. Bait and switch on cocktail menu $10 Bloody Mary turned out to be $14. Calamari was good, not great too much unseasoned breading. Fried fish sandwich was a large piece of fish but the breading wasn't crispy, indicating that the oil in which it was fried wasn't hot enough. Ditto for the French fries. The restaurant was fairly slow and the employees came out into the main dining area and sat at a table talking loudly while we were eating our lunch. Not a great atmosphere. Overall, not horrible, but probably won't be going back.
Beware of the Shrimp Grits. Their twist is a block of fried grits (which becomes dry sandy in texture with absolute NO flavor, or salt) on top of a cream soup. I really tried to enjoy it but just couldn’t get past the blandness and dryness. What happened to the classic Shrimp Grits?? That's the name of the entrée so stick with original method please. In the end, I received a small side of grits mixed it in. Took the rest home added more grilled shrimp to it.
I'm from New England and the haddock was paper thin, and haddock fillets are not six inches long. The mussels on the menu says white wine, garlic, cream and shallots. This was salty brine water with old bay seasoning. It's different every time I come here. I'm not coming back.

Table full of every waitress playing on their phones. Ordered appetizers nearly 40 minutes ago with at a very slow time. Worst service I’ve had here through 20+ times of coming
My food was good, but my companion had eggs Benedict and said the hollandaise had NO flavor. Our table was wet, as were two chairs. The wrong salad was delivered to me.
This was my first time to have dinner at this restaurant and it was great. If you ever visit Cartersville, GA, please stop in and dine there, you won't regret it!
This is our 3rd time here been pleased every time food is great prices are reasonable and Shelby the waitress was great..

Flounder and Monkfish were absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the Molton Lava cake too!
It was good but, not the best. It was just seafood.
