Visited on a whim, and Indian food is something I do enjoy. Sat downstairs and my order was taken right away. Poppadoms and a variety of sauces were brought and I nibbled whilst waiting for the meal I ordered. It only took minutes and was delivered, piping hot. It was fabulous, really well cooked and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for fast and friendly service and a lovely meal. It was, I feel, a tad pricy, the rice was separate, and although they do meal deals, this was outwith the times. However, it is in St.Andrews so that seems to be on par with Edinburgh pricing. Lovely meal though.
A bit surprised to be charged over for each poppadom and a sweet, runny smooth mango chutney. The mains were OK (nicely spiced but with chopped iceberg lettuce and raw carrot and about more expensive and top rated London curry houses. The biryani was supposed to come with a vegetable bhaji, and when I asked was told that the bhaji was a success with vegetables?? Is this under new management, as I felt like it was an exercise in maximizing profits with minimum cost.
love this Indian restaurant, the atmosphere is friendly and it is quite compact down that helps with the ambiente. the eating is excellent, we have for a mixed starter that was nice, and then my wife and I shared for a main course the tandoori fish platter that was nice, this had a lot of fishing and were all really delicious. we both had kulfi to finish and enjoy it. I thought it would be a good value for money and comparable to preisen in edinburgh or glasgow.
good cheap food. maisha atmosphere and eating was generally good. I, my wife and one-year-old daighter showed up tonight. we had the early evening menu (they had to ask at including beer and orange juice. Eat was good if not excellent and portioning were generous, we were so full that we needed no pudding. the regular meal prices are somewhat expensive, but also the other Indian restaurants in st andrews are a bit expensive.

this is our favorite Indian restaurant I can only say the people who were not satisfied, it must have been a swallow. I would highly recommend people who visit st andrews to make their own thoughts there. big staff can not see enough for them again when we are in st andrews 2 weeks time
A lovely Indian restaurant in St Andrews. I would given it stars. The food was delicious all dishes were hot and tasty. Plenty of choice on the menu. Friendly and efficient staff, would visit again.
service was polite and efficient and the price (to the brand with two beers for what they have seen) is sufficient for the quality, while nobody could ever complain about the amount.
delicious food here yesterday evening. great friendly service. new restaurant for us, but so impressed we will go back to st andrews to eat here.

The Maisha special Korma was some of the best curry I’ve tasted. Great portion size and value for money. I would definitely eat here again.
