Despite only being a table of two persons and arriving before 7pm, we could only just be accommodated in a small room on the third floor (dining is also possible in various rooms of the ground floor, first floor and cellar as well as the biergarten. The menu card contained many classic German dishes and I particularly enjoyed the cream of potato soup for starter with a good solid, sausage and sauerkraut dish for main course. The food was well cooked and promptly served in spite of it being very busy with a mix of large and small groups dining. My rating would have been 4/5 but for the fact that they run out of one of their own brews that I had wanted to try but overlooking that, a solid 4/5...
This place is huge, three floors up plus the old beer cellar below. They also seem to have lots of reservations but still have space for people to drop in spontaneously like us. Inside it was very warm and quite stuffy - in part probably due to the face that they actively brew their beer in the building. The staff are friendly and efficient although they seem quite stressed. The food is fresh and tasty. I had the Angus beef burger with potato dippers (a fantastic cross between crisps and roast potatoes) which was delicious.
The place was packed when we arrived, but fortunately we got a table on the third floor. Service was fast despite the number of thr clients and very friendly, too. There is a good choice of German food and wines. We had asparagus and fish; fresh and tasty. Deserts delicious. Very nice German white wine. Price/quality excellent. You really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and good food. Better to book next time!
Not far from the Sande - one of the medieval marketplaces of Lueneburg in the old town you find the Mälzer Brauhaus. We had some great parties there and we recommend the dark beer cellar for the real atmosphere. Grab a not only one beer - order a beer cask and enjoy the evening. Food is highly recommendable. Fair prices. I would recommend a reservation as often pretty crowdy.

Esto se produce en el lugar, Weizen y Pilzner (Tomé el segundo y estaba muy bien). Los platos son sencillos pero sabroso. El entorno rústico da recepción calidez y un ambiente informal agradable para estar.
Service was appropriate and friendly, food tasty and prepared as ordered. What struck me, however, was the bartender. He talked about the variety of their house brews, and helpfully poured me shot -glasses of each (gratis). He displayed his expert knowledge with humor and professionalism. Of course, he convinced me to buy more
If you're looking for the authentic German restaurant/pub - you'll struggle to find much better. Great beer, excellent food - highly recommended. Best to book in advance however as it does get rather busy, especially towards the weekend.
Classic German cousin, great homebred beer, really god food and great service! Alltghough the waitress was a vegetarian she advised us perfectly???? A bit pricy but worth it. Pays 73 euros for 5 people with food and 2 beers for each.
