I also tried the bitter melon, but it was quite disappointing—dry and lacking in flavor. I ordered the lu rou fan to go, which was tasty, but maybe a bit too rich as it was extremely salty. They charged me extra for including a hard-boiled egg, which I found ridiculous since lu rou fan should always come with an egg.
As for the service, my server was good, but another server asked me to move because my seat was reserved—even though I had previously confirmed with my server that it was okay to sit there. It seemed silly, especially since there were plenty of empty tables available on a weekday afternoon. Was I somehow cramping their style by dining alone? Hmmm...
Really awful service. They didn’t honor reservations. We thought our seats had been reserved and guaranteed but they ended up giving the table to some walk-in customers even we arrived on time. They were not willing to apologize and resolve the issue and even asked us to walk out due to their stupid mistake. You can see all they care about is money. What’s worse, the food is just ok. All the trouble and effort are not worthy.
We had our family dinner here last week and ordered Beijing Duck. The size of the duck was pretty big and the meal also came with a large pot of soup. The eggplant with tofu also tasted good. The dish size of the walnut shrimp was big and good quality. Steamed sea brass size was with a special sauce. We also tried Japanese dry shrimp on sweet rice. It was a very special dish. We will go there again.
The food was quite tasty, but I have to mention that their tipping suggestion is incorrect. It should be based on the pre-tax amount with a 15% tip, but they recommended tips based on the post-tax total, which is disappointing. We ended up giving a 20% tip based on their suggestion. While it's just a small amount, it could turn away customers like me who don't appreciate feeling misled.

We made a reservation but they gave our table to some random walk in customers….So we ended up waiting 1.5 hours for the table.. they still show very bad attitude.They served the dishes slowly and let us wait at the table 1 more hour…Very awful experience, not worthy at all… we didn’t give a big tip due to all these reasons, they even came out and argued with us on the tip…
It's ok for Taiwanese dish. Sometimes a hit or miss. But as the years go by the taste of what was our childhood taste also disappears. We bought the new years meal but all I can say was it would have been better if it was not a take out option.
Super disappointed. They mistakenly gave our reserved tables to other guests, so we had to wait another half hour for available tables. Food taste are average.
Good bakery fresh items but I like the one on Garvey better. More selections better one of the Asian bakeries. Good prices for the quality you get

The braised pork was tough and dry, completely unlike the picture. It had no red color whatsoever, which actually made me feel nauseous.
The prices are high and the service is poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
