I really wish I had taken some pictures, but the food was so delicious that we devoured it before we even thought to snap a photo. I'm a huge fan of pimento cheese burgers, and from the very first bite, it was clear that this was a hand-formed burger topped with homemade pimento cheese. My husband opted for the fried fish, fries, and coleslaw, and he really enjoyed his meal. We tried two different ice creams and ultimately chose the cannoli cream chocolate chip, although the orange flavor was fantastic as well. Both the owner and the server were delightful and clearly passionate about their work. I highly recommend this place!
We decided to try Mama Henry’s on a whim, and we’re really glad we did! We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken right away. The service here is exceptional, and the food arrived quickly and was delicious! Even if you’re not looking for a full meal, the homemade ice cream is reason enough to visit—it’s fantastic and the flavors change frequently. Food Fun more. Absolutely love the Backyard Cafe! Staff is very friendly great variety of food choices which are very yummy and well prepared live entertainment some nights on the outdoor patiowhich is a real pleasure play area for kids outside family atmosphere great back porch to gather on with friends! ...and I almost forgot homemade ice cream and desserts that are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Well worth the trip! :
The Backyard Cafe was a great place to grab a meal for our family of 3. Plenty of kids meal choices to satisfy our 7 year old, several choices of sandwiches to choose from for the adults, and they also have more 'dinner ' entrees as well. We opted for the backyard sandwich and a pimento cheeseburger. Both were good. And some homemade ice cream: vanilla and strawberry shortcake. YUM!

I have been here probably 10 plus times. Some with the old owners and maybe 4 times with the new. It is amazing. The food is so good. The service is always been good for me. Homemade ice cream. Get the nachos to start! Salads are amazing and I LOVE the bean burger. Great tea- could go on and on. Total local spot! Go try it! It’ll sneak up to you on the road lots of parking.

The restaurant has a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and incredibly efficient. The food was excellent, and the place was spotless. Overall, it felt very inviting. Rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
A hidden gem! The food is fantastic, the live music on weekends is enjoyable, and the atmosphere is filled with great people.
