!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!Mexican food is my favorite, and craving carne asada tacos, so I stopped into Mama Mias in Lino Lakes and ordered 3 tacos, and guacamole! I received 3 tiny tacos with barely any meat, pico, or their hottest hot sauce (which wasn 't hot)!!! A small container of guacamole. I 'm more than familiar with Mexican food being from California, and spending a lot of time in Mexico, plus trying out many Mexican restaurants in Minnesota, and many more on my travels around the country, and these were the saddest tacos I 've ever had!!!! Stay clear and go to Don Julio 's, or Fiesta Grill.I guess I have to leave one star so I can post this ?The following in response to the owners....YO...
So I walked into the place and looked at the menu and set up and immediately my mind was like because I can't leave a restaurant that I've already walked into. BUT I am so glad that I ended up ordering. The set up is assembly like chipotle, but the food actually has flavor and taste unlike chipotle. For some reason they sell boba which was unexpected but it was pretty good. Mangonada was good too. Birria was so so but all in all it was a nice find for north suburbs. Very chill and clean place with a patio.
This place is just disgusting. I don’t know how they’re still open. We got chilaquiles and a burrito. They were both just so bad. They have everything sitting there cold worse than a fast food place.
The whole family tried the burritos, and we all agree that Chipotle is no longer an option for us. Mama Mia's is definitely our top choice!

Tasty fresh food. Surprisingly nice environment. Nice outside patio. Great service. Better than Chipotle. We will be back!

Great little restaurant. They have a decent size outdoor patio. Good music also.
I think Chipotle style ordering but more authentic cuisine.
