My husband and I had lunch at Mama Rosa's and it was our favorite meal during our stay in Lüneburg. The location is beautiful and we sat at a window by the river. The restaurant has a chic city feel to it, but still fits...well with the surroundings of the old town. Service was prompt and impeccable quite admirable. The menu was small and inventive. My husband chose a pasta dish which was delicious and I had a sandwich made at the counter. I had the choice of a number of Italian cheeses and cold cuts, and my Milan salami/Asiago cheese sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. 1a location on the beautiful river bank. Nice ambience. Price/performance okay. Operation Annika Meyer was really great. Thanks for the nice and patient service today with two toddlers with dog. The food was really delicious, but for 5 stars the menu was really too economical. Maybe Corona effects? At least did not find any of the food from the other reviews on the one-sided menu. But would still go back!
