It is a real clay pot with high temperature rather than an ornament, and you can hear the squeak clearly when it is served. Shocking place to eat!. This shop has deteriorated over time not only with food quality, quantity but also ethically When they first open in Hurstville, we ordered a set meal for 4 person that includes 4 lemon tea. We were however charged for the lemon tea $4.50 each at the end of it and shown a different menu without it. SO we paid On Thursday, we had to pay extra from what was priced in the menu because of the fine print that say price subject to change without prior notice! See the pictures. Pleasant, No Frills eatery in Hurstville. A Dying breed.. The decor is very dixon centre where this restaurant originated from but the food is genuine and nice. This is a no frills dining experience where you get a very reasonable meal for a very reasonable price which is getting difficult to find in Hurstville these days. The service is attentive and polite and the food arrives pretty quickly. The menu is very large which originally worried us but everything we ordered was very good.

There are so many great choices of restaurant in Hurstville and I feel this is not one of them.The menu is too big with so many dishes that you start to wonder how they are keeping all the ingredients fresh. Then when the dishes come to the table they all seem the same. Plus they charged us dinner prices for what was supposed to be a lunch special. If you hand a customer a lunch special menu I believe you should charge them lunch prices as listed on that menu.I would not recomend.

We chose this place out of several identical restaurants because the lady came outside to greet us.The menu is huge! The service and food were good. It was only after we paid the bill (handwritten on oz lotto paper) that we bothered to check. She ripped is off on pretty much every item charging us 50c to $1 more than stated on the menu. I made the mistake of ordering an item from the pictures on the wall so she could charge whatever she wanted. We will not be back!
seriously disappointing eating. nothing against the service. the service we received was nice. taste is however a total finish. has been in a fair part of Chinese restaurants in recent years, but this will remain in our memories for the wrong reasons. had 4 dishes and no one tasted like expected. Maybe that was her bad day, but we'll never return.

eating is good since we first visited 3-4 years ago. 3 eggs fried rice and spicy pork are excellent. price is reasonable service is good.
