I 've come here many times; consistency is lacking, but hey, they 're local. Today was the last straw. I found a long piece of hair on the ONE slice I ordered from them. I also ordered a salad, but I didn 't even get a chance to open it because I was completely disgusted by the lack of care and awareness regarding the products they serve. You literally couldn 't miss that strand of hair. I drove it back to the store after placing an Uber order, and the guys who work in the front were like... GRANDE! Yeah, you can 't miss that strand—talk about disgusting!!!
The customer service was atrocious and blatantly discriminatory toward Asian people. On January 3, 2025, we ordered two panini sandwiches with soup, paid the full bill of $37.11, and left at 5:18 PM without eating. The server's attitude was appalling he was extremely rude and clearly assumed we wouldn’t tip because of our Asian-Indian background. His annoyance and reluctance to serve us were painfully obvious. This level of disrespect is unacceptable.
When I reached out to the restaurant, they offered two options: I could drive back for another 30 minutes to pick up a corrected order, or I could have my name placed in a credit book for my next visit. They stated they were unable to process a refund to my credit card. I’ve stopped dining there regularly due to previous issues with their service and changes they’ve made.
Mama Theresa in Garden City! They'll be celebrating 40 years of serving pizza, pasta, salads, and entrees. I have never had a bad meal at MT/GC. The dining room can get hectic on the weekends as reservations are not accepted. The waitstaff from Anna, Nicholas, Melvin, and the rest are very friendly and efficient. Enjoy!!

It's a pizza place, a really good pizza place. And restaurant combined. It's not fine dining but the food makes up for the lack of ambiance
