We were in the area and craving Italian food, so with all the high ratings, we expected a great meal. We started with garlic knots, which were good but not exceptional. They came with a cold, flavorless pizza sauce. For our main courses, I ordered the meatball parmigiana, which was disappointing—it felt like a step up from something canned. The sauce was burnt and overly peppery, and the meatballs were the small, rubbery kind you’d find in frozen meals. When I visit an Italian restaurant, I hope for homemade, family recipe meatballs, and these definitely did not measure up. The garlic bread tasted pre-packaged as well. This pizza really hit the spot! We had the Mamma Mia special pizza and every inch of it was perfect. I really enjoyed the old time Italian American restaurant vibes with the classic music and pictures of the town from the last century. I would love to return here with my parents.
