Mandarin - Reserva de mesa

Went to the Mandarin for a birthday meal with the extended family. Arrived about 4:30 on a Tuesday. Seating was prompt. No lineup. Table service was very quick. The array of food was amazing. Not just "Chinese foods." Had not been to a Mandarin in about 8 years. Some subtle changes. People still toss coins into the fish pond. I was not disappointed. I was not able to sample most of the food. Not that hungry that night.Staff was very pleasant. I found the seating very cumbersome as the chair legs did not slide at all on the carpet. You almost had to be pried out of your seat to get to the food. Created a few awkward moments for the elderly folks.

Tonight I celebrated my birthday with my family at the Mandarin. We hadn't been since they had renovated and we were very pleased with the new decor and set up! The food selection was vast and quality very good. The service was the best! Our plates were always cleared away quickly, and water glasses never were empty. A bunch of our Chartwell residents have been going here about once a month for several months now. We have enjoyed the food but have found that it is getting kind of expensive for we seniors to be able to afford. We may not be able to get a group together for future ventures. I have noticed that the water they serve, reminds me of swimming pool water, seems very chlorinated taste. Service is good for those items you need extra.

Living in another Province I don't get the pleasure of The Mandarin often enough. I love this place! Great selection of items sure to please all tastes. A never ending supply of crab legs kept dinners happy tonight! The dessert bar was amazing, can't go wrong with anything especially the freshly dipped chocolate covered strawberries! Had a family supper there lots of selection. Food was hot.Find it kind of expensive $31.99 PP.My daughter found a bug crawling on her placemat. Was brought to servers attention. Within minutes manager came and spoke with us and gave us 10% off.Besides price found it a good spot to eat where everyone can find something to eat.

We love the Mandarin in Pickering. We always try to get seated where Danny is working. Excellent service and the selection and quality of the food is great.

Went on a Saturday night to celebrate our daughter's birthday. At $32/ head for the adults and half price for our 11 yr old, the bill came to $101 w/ tax

they try and jam as many people in as possible and the quality of the food is low- definitely not worth the money- also, too many kids

Wide variety of Chinese and Japanese food. Lots of salads and desserts. You really need to come on an empty stomach.
