Mandoon Estate - Reserva de mesa

We were pleasantly surprised by The Wild Swan restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The waiter was very informed and accommodating, the décor was charming, and the food was delicious. The chef even took the extra step to write "Happy Anniversary" on our dessert plates. I am usually very picky, but I will definitely return for another special occasion. Although the prices may prevent regular visits, we plan to try the brewery next door next time.

We visited the estate early February with a friend from South Africa and had a wonderful time talking and tasting wine. I bought 2 bottles of The Pact Shiraz 2014 and opened one tonight. It would have to be one of the best bottles of Shiraz I have tasted anywhere in the world. Well done to the winemaker.

Excellent place to gather with family and friends. The children enjoyed the playground, pizza, and the mobile French fry vendor. It would be nice to have more vegetarian choices on the menu.

We arrived early at 9am for a quiet brunch. Although we missed out on the bustling atmosphere of the usually busy bar and bistro area, we still had a very pleasant experience.

I was on the fence between giving this restaurant 3 or 4 stars. I had heard great things about Mandoon Estate, so I decided to take my family from overseas to dine there.
