Maneki Neko is a small but enjoyable sushi and Japanese food spot. I went there with three others and a baby. Be forewarned, space is limited and adding a high chair might be tough depending on how many people are in the restaurant. However, the staff was very accommodating and helped us get set up in the right place. The menu had many items I wanted to try, so I will definitely have to return. This time, I ordered the Maneki Medley, which included sushi and sashimi, and the Miso Ramen with a side of spice. Overall a mixed bag, with some great and some not so great dishes. The katsu curry was excellent. The curry had a good amount of meat in it (in addition to the katsu), which I thought was excessive- but the dish was still delicious. The sushi was not great. It did not seem very fresh. Texture was a little off. Pork belly appetizer was decent. I also had Tonkotsu ramen, which wasn’t on the menu, but our waitress said that they had it. It was pretty good. The noodles were outstanding, the chashu pork was above average, and the broth was ok- not great. Service was excellent, and the meal was enjoyable, but the food was hit and miss for me.
This is hands-down the best sushi ever. Their fish is fresh and tastes different (in a good way) than anywhere else. The service is always very thoughtful in where they seat you, when they bring out the food, and asking you what you 'd like. Above and beyond. The atmosphere, is very peaceful and relaxing. A fantastic place for lunch or dinner. I wouldn 't label this place as a nice restaurant, it 's definitely more mom and pop , but that 's not at all a bad thing, it 's just not flashy, certainly no flaming cocktails or waiters in suits. I love bringing in sushi from Maneki Neko! It's honestly easier to customize your sushi for pickup than eating there. We do eat there regularly, but I wish they had a liquor license so we could have cocktails as well. I love the tempura sweet potato roll and my partner really enjoys the fried gyoza appetizer!

Authentic Japanese experience with friendly, welcoming staff. My family have been eating there for years now. Try the soft shell crab appetizer. The yakisoba. The sushi rolls. Purple yam and coconut ice cream
Went here with a gf of mine and we had the BEST miso soup!! I enjoyed my rolls as well, and I'll be sure to bring my husband next time.
Best tempura and teriyaki anything. Also sushi and alike are very fresh. Katsu was kind of dry. We love Mr. Tao!!
