The bruschetta recipe has changed—it's now served on crispy bread instead of the soft bread it used to come with. I liked both versions, but my husband preferred the soft bread. So if you're like him, be sure to ask whether the bread will be crispy or soft. The cauliflower gnocchi was excellent, featuring thin asparagus shreds, a slice of cauliflower, and marinated lemon, making it a wonderfully light and delightful dish. We’ve visited Mangia E Bevi many times over the years, and the food is consistently exceptional. While the prices are a bit higher than average, they reflect the high quality of the cooking. Every dish on the menu looks and tastes fantastic. They also offer a $40 Groupon if you want to reduce the cost slightly. The service is always attentive, and there’s plenty of parking available. The family behind Mangia E Bevi owns a few other well-known restaurants, and I’ve never had a disappointing meal or experience here. Definitely worth a visit.
The food was exceptional! Our visit was definitely worthwhile, and we will definitely be back. I ordered the Polo Salad, which was fantastic. We also sampled the Cacio e Pepe pasta, tortellini, and a pizza. My whole family was thrilled with the delicious dishes that evoked fond memories of our grandmother's cooking. The tiramisu was wonderfully made as well. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Italian cuisine, and we will surely return!
This charming Italian bistro is located in the heart of Oceanside. We've visited around 6-7 times, and I can confidently say that every meal has been amazing. If you check in on Yelp, you can score some complimentary bread. They have draft beer and a wide selection of wines available. The staff and the owner are consistently friendly and welcoming. On nice days, be sure to enjoy the terrace! There are now two terraces, and the side one features a lovely well and a cozy fireplace.

Wow!! What a gem this restaurant is. We went twice while visiting and the food was amazing! The pasta (can't remember the name of this dish) was rich but so good. It had two fried squash blossoms that I would have ordered more as a side if i could of. They were perfectly fried and delicate and a perfect compliment to the dish.
This might be the best Italian restaurant I've ever visited. My wife and I ordered the slice, pulp, tortellini (all shown in the pictures), and a pizza (which, unfortunately, isn't pictured). It may have been a bit too much food for the two of us, but it was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be returning.
