Mango's - Reserva de mesa

I hadn't been here for about 10 years but a friend wanted a nice water view. It started walking up the steps. The hand rails were so dirty, black with mold, and sticky, I couldn't even hold on to them. Dirty windows, water spots all over the ceiling,cracked floors....but I overlooked all that...for a bit. Staff was nice, food came out quickly and it was just OK. The mahi tacos were tasty but rice and beans had no flavor at all. Then I went to the restroom. It was clear that the woman's bathroom floor had not seen a mop in years..seriously...the sinks were dirty, green, black and so gross. It was just awful. I walked out and past the kitchen. Service was excellent for the first 80% of the time. It seems , at some point, our waitress disappeared even though the restaurant was less than 30% full. We were a party of four, with 2 people being fairly regular patrons.The food was excellent. I had surf and turf which included a generously sized, very meaty crab cake and a perfectly prepared filet. Parking: We were there in the offseason and found plenty of parking. I can imagine it is tough during beach season. Wheelchair accessibility: It was about 50 yards from the parking lot to the restaurant. Two spots required pushing a wheelchair up long inclines plus an elevator ride up one level.

Not sure where the 4 star rating is coming from, but the Karen's on the porch might be a tell tale sign. The waitstaff handled it in stride.Came in mid afternoon on a Saturday out of season. Used to DC prices so it was less then what we normally pay for three with drinks, an appetizer, and entrees.The food was good, what you would expect from a seaside restaurant. Drinks were very tasty and Taylor, our server was very sweet and made us a cold coffee after our meal!We saw a pod of dolphins off the outside porch where we were sitting. Nice show.

Mango's is amazing. My family and I spend a long chunk of time every summer in Bethany at my grandparent's beach house. We love to head to Mango's for some good food and good views. Their burger and fries is fantastic. You must try their shark attack which is a fun spin on a shirley temple. This drink is sprite served in a fish bowl with little toy fish and a shark filled with grenidene blood. So fun! Plus the view makes you feel like you are on a cruise ship. Definitely try this place! Service was excellent, but the food was below par for a beachfront establishment. We had an overcooked tuna sandwich and a rather cold and rather thin chicken sandwich. We're going to give them a second chance, but with hesitation.

My chicken sandwich with cheese came out cold. How? The cheese was congealed and my waitress disappeared so I could not ask her to correct it. Very disappointing lunch. Wont be back. Only nice thing is windows overlook the beach.

Great spot with beautiful views and a great atmosphere! Sat at the bar ! Food was great and drinks were too ! Bartender was new but did a great job. He was from Poughkeepsie NY I remember ! Great Stuff ! We will be back !

Terrible bar foods, watered down drinks. Very loud. Chose someplace, anyplace else. There are lots of other options in BB.
