Nice local restaurant aiming for an upscale touch. The menu offers a wide variety of options in the Louisiana/Cajun/Creole range. With cocktails on tap, a full service bar, and weekly specials, Maple Tree Inn is a sure favorite for any occasion. The food is always good, however, there is sometimes a consistency issue. It 's not a case of any dish being bad but when you 've had the best repeatedly, it 's apparent when something is not made to process because it 's just okay or lacks flavor. ' Overall, love the hurricane cocktail, cast iron cornbread, fried oysters, and smoked bone-in pork chop.

We took my lady there for a surprise birthday dinner. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. While it is a somewhat high-end restaurant with incredible food, the prices were very reasonable, I've paid more for less. We've been to Mapke Tree before and will continue to dine there.
