Very kind and welcoming and his restaurant is truly awonderful place to dine in and get a taste of New Orleans. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the menu offered a wonderful variety of flavors. There seems to be something for everyone, from dishes to personalized cocktails. The burnt ends were particularly delicious, and the cabbage that accompanied them was a perfect match. Be prepared for the pork chop, though—it's incredibly thick, much thicker than anything you've likely encountered before. The BBQ shrimp made for a fantastic appetizer, and I could happily eat the cornbread all day long (though they provided refrigerated butter, which made it quite difficult to spread). Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
Good food, unusual menu. The place was crowded on a Thursday. Very cordial staff. Wine list and drink choices were a bit limited. But I do understand. You can't keep everything in stock, and have some things sit around for years. We attend, once or twice a year. Local, nice place. Enjoy!
The ambiance and people were really nice but the food was straight up nasty. Fried Oysters were tasteless, fried tomatoes were hard and nasty. Dirty rice was a disappointment the cabbage tasted like nothing but vinegar. They need a new chef and this would be a bomb place to frequent.

Very good restaurant located in the south suburbs. I’ve been a few times the food and drinks are very good. Customer service is always an A+ no complaints at all. Definitely go and support if you haven’t done so.
The shrimp and grits is decadent. Perfection on a plate. Very friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in to the light and fluffy beignets for dessert. Service is always on point.
Beautiful spot! I remember when they were much smaller the size of a small pub. The blacked redfish was good. The catfish fantastic! The space was warm inviting and beautiful.
Everything was so good.. the food the service, the ambience… food was delicious 10/10 definitely would recommend… whoever the cook was on 11/19/22 @7pm THEY NEED A RAISE

I've been dining at this restaurant for many years, even when it was located in different places. The delicious food and Cajun flavors always made it worth the journey.
