Wanted to get something to eat at dawaat on white but I got there too late and they were closed as it was a Wednesday night, but the night before Canada day so white was busy.Decided I would drive down the strip and find somewhere to eat, I noticed Mikes famous, now there's two Mikes famous on white ave, one which is more east and right next to gateway blvd and the other which is mikes famous burgers (used to be called Marcos) I think that's right across from the banks and more west.This is the Mikes which is between Gateway BLVD and Calgary trail.I have been to the one which is more west but never this location so I decided to head in.The place is kind of olde...

Just got their donair. Yeah, it was good. Mine had alot of meat in it. My lettuce was fresh and the donair was bigger then most places. The sauce was great.They had a milkshake place inside too. I got that too. That was really good. It look like the man was taking his time to make it right. I really enjoyed that milkshake.Yeah, the two dudes were nice to me.Not sure about some of the bad reviews. Staff was nice to me and I ate all my donair and the my milkshake was really good.
Nicely renovated interior, great service, and great menu selection. I really like their recent renovations to this place. It's clean, bright, and classy. You can even smoke shisha here! Ordered the Donair Salad and it tasted amazing. Service was friendly and fast. Good experience overall

Excellent service, re-made my donair even though I was the one who made the mistake.Great food as well, one of the only places I’ve eaten where the donair is filling and delicious without being too heavy. (The sweet sauce was the best).
I don't understand why this restaurant only has a rating of 3.4. Today, I tried a chicken donair with garlic sauce from here and you need to stop what you're doing right now and go try it too. It is hands down the best in Edmonton.
The diner has a great atmosphere, and the burger and fries with gravy were fantastic! I love that it's located on Whyte Avenue, which adds to its charm. It might become my new go-to spot for dining.
cheap, processed, frozen chicken strips/fingers are made from chicken scratch. fries are okay but that literally doesn't say anything at all. not well priced. would avoid.

The best donair poutine I've ever had!! I only ever come here late at night for that so I can't judge anything else but it's worth the trip every time.
One of the longest standing and best donair joints in the city! Ice cream and other desserts available now too!
