This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but the service has always been terrible. However, today the service was surprisingly respectful. It has always seemed like the staff didn't really care about the customers, which is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that claims to be gluten-free friendly. The atmosphere is dark and the tables are often dirty. The back garden area is no different. Some friends and I stopped here for breakfast on our way home from a night away. We wanted somewhere gluten free friendly and vegan friendly. The staff were so lovely and we placed our orders of breakfast wrap, a pastry, vegan pancakes and the warm...fruit salad. We all tasted each other’s meals and all couldn’t believe that every meal tasted Devine. We will definitely be returning.
Absolutely delicious! Me and my friends were surprised and impressed by the great variety of GF and organic menu choices. We are out the back in the courtyard where it was spacious, sunny, and inviting. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered the...mushrooms on toast and the crepe with peppermint cacao and dandelion latte, would recommend!
Four of us went there for the first time for breakfast, sitting in the quiet and nice garden at the back. The food was absolutely delicious and copious. Great coffees. The breakfast wrap was full of moist and delicious fillings. Wish we had known this...cafe few years back as we live on the Gold Coast. We will be back as we prefer gluten free food.

Sevice was shocking, girl behind the counter couldnt be bothered making our two coffees she just wanted to talk **** to another worker. Pastry was dry and total bill was over $20 for 2 coffees and a sweet potato pastry that wouldnt feed a toddler....You wont see me again.
I read mixed reviews about this place, but my husband and I tried it this past weekend and we really loved it. We got the breakfast wrap and the pancakes and both were delicious and huge portions. I would definitely come back here and...love that everything is vegan!
I ate at Marie Anita's several times over a weekend in Burleigh Heads. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal and the apple crumble muffins are amazing. My only negative would be that the meal times were a little slow but this would not stop me returning.

I ordered a latte expecting to enjoy it in a glass cup, but was surprised when it was served in a cardboard take-out cup instead. Paying $13 for two coffees served in cardboard cups was disappointing.
Cafe has now become vegan so most of the o,d favourites are no longer available. The food was so dry two of the three in our group couldn’t eat out breakfast.
