Mario's Pizza & Ristorante

My husband enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce. The marinara is beyond delicious and the meatballs were juicy and loaded with flavor. Unfortunately I ordered carbonara with grilled chicken and didn't have any chicken with my carbonara. They charged me for the chicken and left it off. The fried cheese and ravioli on the combo platter was greasy and tasteless the mushrooms and zucchini were delicious. The garlic cheese bread was so good, very garlicky. I ordered a Caesar salad and I couldn't eat it, very little salad and they had put it in the same bag as the pasta so it was all wilted and the croutons were soggy. Not very appetizing!!!

We have been eating at Mario's since they opened in 1972. Best N.Y style pizza and pasta in town! Big portions and reasonable prices. We also love the Giant carrot and homemade gelato.

we really didn't enjoy the pasta at all. the rest of the food was a delight and wonderful as usual. that pasta was something new but we just really didn't like it.

the Tiramisu was incredible. 100% recommend. The pastrami is delicious, though it could have done without the lettuce and tomato.
