Unexpected find with this old fashioned main street shopping and eating experience! There should be a sign out front that says Come in Get Lost . The Mariposa Market can be traced all the way back to 1859, and the inside look and fixtures look like they are dated back then. Its like taking a step back in time and enjoying an old fashioned eating and shopping experience. In this 1911 heritage building you 'll find a bakery, two bustling cafes and two unique shops where you’ll find local syrup and honeys along with preserves and chutneys and so much more. We had a delicious carrot cake muffin and 2 cappacinos for $15 (not cheap but delicious)

After camping at Bass Lake Provincial Park, we decided to visit Orillia, which is only about a 15-minute drive away. Since it was Victoria Day, most shops in town were closed, except for Mariposa Market. Street parking was free on Sunday and public holidays, but otherwise it was $3 per hour. Mariposa Market was bustling with visitors, offering a variety of coffee, cakes, and hot food for purchase. You can also dine on the second floor. The market also had a selection of local products such as jams, chutney, and chocolate, as well as souvenir items like tee shirts and soft toys. Overall, it was a great place to spend an hour exploring.

So many great and cherished memories from here. Food is delicious and wholesome. The staff and service are excellent and enjoyable to talk to. The environment and ambiance is always inviting and cozy. My girlfriend, now wife and I have been patrons since we were in high school and have always enjoyed our time here.I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery/marketplace to anyone

Stopped here for a coffee and a pastry with my family from the UK and we were all pleased with our choices. My brother is normally very critical of Canadian baked goods but he was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the muffins and cakes. My only complaint is that it’s a bit of a zoo up at the counter, I would prefer table service. Reserva una mesa ahora

OMG! l love this market so much!They have almost everything! Various options of baked goods, sweets, cakes, cookies, fudge, sauces, jam, pickles and more!You can have your breakfast, lunch or brunch!We really enjoyed every single minute in it with my family ?.This is a must spot to visit in Orillia!

Great place to pick up some love baked goods. Lots of seating if you want to eat in. Do check out their drinks, pies, pickled items and their jams. Plenty of places to check out and never felt crowded just busy. If you’re stopping by Orillia, make sure you stop by here!

Wonderful spot to visit for pastries... Definitely grabbed a half dozen donuts...and they were 12.99! A great deal considering how delicious they are. There was a lineup but it moved quickly. They also have seats and tables upstairs for eating your treats.

The food tasted great had a vegetable quiche so tasty and a maple doughnut the softness was amazing got a butter tart it was perfect not so sweet but so tasty. I highly recommend try this place out if ever in the area Reserva una mesa ahora

The pastries looks delicious. There are many gams and collectables food bottles to choose from. Its one of the best pastry in Muskoka cottage country.
