Ordered from this location last week. Ordered myself and my son a kids burger combo. I placed the order over the phone. Paid for and got my order. I went in today with my son and ordered the same thing for lunch but they wouldn 't let me order the kids meal because it 's for 10 and under only. The adult combo is too much food. The server asked me if I had ordered my food at night when the manager wasn 't there and that they couldn 't get me the kids combo because the managers were there. I said no, she got the manager and the manager told me I can 't do that because I 'm not 10 or under. Warning: Be prepared for massive portions of delicious food with great service and incredible value. Only enter if you are prepared to be amazed. My family and I stopped here on our way home from the zoo. We had never eaten at a Wimpy's but this restaurant was well reviewed and the menu had something for everyone. When we entered we were immediately greeted with friendly service by Clea. I had the best strawberry milk shake OF MY LIFE! Food was delivered ridiculously fast. From the first time we visited the Diner we were welcomed by great staff. We just got a coffee and were just checking the place out. The art work is still memorizing and the staff is more like family. The food is great. Only once did I have a problem with my meal and it was dealt with immediately. The waitress and the cook apologized several times. The owner and manager even takes time to talk to the customers. They want to know what people like and don't like. Only thing they could do better is put a cherry on top of their milk shakes (they are delicious) .
Stopped here shortly after the start of a long road trip from Haliburton to Columbus, Ohio for breakfast. I had the pancakes. They were as scrumptious as they look (see photo). And the atmosphere was 1950s kitsch, so that was nice. The only thing ordinary about this place was the service. It may have just been an off day for the wait staff, who are often under enormous stress. I will be back next year when I come through again.
Staff was awesome food was great but like everywhere it's a little expensive. The food was worth it. I had 3 eggs Benedict with peamale on English Muffins I felt if I'm paying that much I'll get what I want!! It was $15.99 came with the usual Home fries. Best quality, quantity and reasonable price in Orillia. We have taken several friends to this location and they have been amazed at the selection of food and and how well it was prepared. Many friends are now frequenting this location and all are very happy with the food and service. Breakfast is available all day but also there are many dinner entrées. Our favorite is the chicken souvlaki.
I like your food always good. I'm just confused. My friends and I were talking about wimpys in general, we have been to a couple. The mural on the wall we don't get 1950s 1960 s vibe but then you have action figures? The white tile on the wall is very plain and boring reminds me of a hospital waiting room. Wimpys is about colours retro not action figures and plain white walls
