We have frequented Mariscos El Rafa several times to enjoy their shrimp ceviche, which is always a hit at our family gatherings. The Ceviche De Camarones is especially delicious when ordered in a large aluminum tray. While I have yet to dine in, I am confident that the food is great based on our takeout experiences. The restaurant is of a decent size with indoor seating options including tables, chairs, and booths. The ambiance is enhanced by the music playing from their updated jukebox, and the decor is pleasant. The service was excellent, with a courteous and helpful young lady taking our order. I paid for my meal without any problems as I ordered and ate it, but unfortunately it was not good. The shrimp was horrible tasting, causing me to immediately spit it out onto a piece of paper. I informed the staff to alert the kitchen to prevent anyone from getting sick. The atmosphere had a strong fishy smell, which was off-putting. I suggest saving your money and dining elsewhere. The staff was nice, however.
I came here to get some 7 mares soup on short notice. The restaurant was cleaned and kept up well. The staff was very nice and had my food ready very quickly. The speed of the food prep was great considering my situation. This restaurant is located in a tucked away part of the business center so you may have to look for a bit. This restaurant probably has the best seafood in the area. The staff kept our drinks filled and were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, and I will definitely eat here again. The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. Some recommended dishes are the shrimp ceviche, aguachiles, mixed casserole, and rancheros shrimp. The price per person is $20-30.

My realtor raved about this place, but to be honest the food was blah...bland and had no taste. I don't know if they didn't season it enough or what. The service was ok, nothing great and no personality from the staff...they were just there. I've had better, and way better service at other locations. It's ok, not the best. The fried tacos are amazing at this restaurant! The micheladas are also delicious. Just remember, they only accept cash so come prepared, otherwise you'll have to use their ATM.
Every time I stop to eat there is a good experience. The service is good and the food is excellent. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5.
