UPDATE 11/5/23: I’ve been a regular at Marker 37 for over a year now, so I’ll share some more detailed thoughts. The location is fantastic, and there’s usually parking available, though it can get tricky when the weather is nice. Most of the staff are quite good, but you’ll need to ask for water refills—points off for that since they don’t tend to check in. Be cautious with soda refills, though; they charge $3 each, which feels a bit excessive. It's also disappointing to hear that Dylan seems to be leaving!
The lead chef has retired, and some dishes seem to have improved a bit, but personally, I find the menu is becoming a bit stale. I would love to see more variety in their sandwich optio...

Our food orders were incorrect; I received onions when I specifically requested them to be omitted, and the calamari lacked the drizzle mentioned on the menu. It had a strong fishy flavor and a rubbery texture. One member of our group ordered a specific beer but was served a completely different one. Absolutely! It's lobster time! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. They had a great selection of draft beers, too. The outdoor view of the bay was lovely! The lobster mac and cheese was packed with chunks of lobster, and the lobster roll was also tasty, though it was a bit small. The fries were just average. I tried a local draft beer, which was fantastic! I ordered Heineken because the guys did, and this trip is all about them. I’m glad we were able to sit outside, even if it wasn’t at Jungkook and Jimin's table!

I visited for lunch and was very pleased with the variety of food and drink options, as well as the service. The heated enclosed patio offers wonderful views of the Connecticut River, where I caught a glimpse of the seven swans swimming! The restaurant is adjacent to a boat yard/marina with boat sales at the front. It's definitely worth the drive to Chester!
We visited this restaurant on a Friday around 2:00 p.m. It was moderately busy, with the bar area filled with patrons. We ordered a beer and decided to take our drinks outside to a picnic table by the water. The atmosphere was very peaceful, the view was lovely, and it was a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors.
Charming restaurant featuring wonderful views and excellent service. There is a great variety of food and drink options to choose from. We chose to sit indoors, but there is a spacious outdoor seating area that is currently heated and enclosed. It must be fantastic to enjoy in warmer weather!
I always have an excellent experience at Marker! The location is fantastic, the service is outstanding, and the food is incredible. It truly has the three most important factors: location, location, location. It’s the best spot on the CT River!
