We dined in the Marque Bar & Grill whilst on a Business trip, enjoyed the Happy Hour prices before 6pm, then ordered the Sundried Tomato Loaf to share, we both agreed it was the best bread we had ever tasted, were so glad we ordered one to share as it was quite big, it was served with Balsamic vinegar and Olive oil. then we ordered the Rib Eye Filet and that too was excellent beautifully presented, fresh Vegetables sweet potato crisps and mashed potato, The Restaurant was busy with a lovely atmosphere and will definitely be our place to go when on Business in Mackay.
The restaurant is located just outside the Oaks hotel making it a convenient venue for meals whilst away on business. The staff are friendly and attentive, the meals are delicious and generous in portion. They also offer a take away option for those who prefer to run with their meals. The only thing I suggest is that it does take a while for the food to be prepared, so allow for an extra 15 minutes or so for this, especially if you are in a rush to get going in the morning.
Group of us (13) travelling from Bris to Tville had breakfast here after overnight stay elsewhere. Generous serves, friendly service and despite large table most meals arrived around same time. Have earmarked to visit again next year on our way north. Could have done with semi-transparent blinds at sunrise - luckily most of us had our sunnies!
The food was good, what there was of it. The menu is fairly limited which is not such a bad thin but for what we were served and the prices charged we were truly underwhelmed. The staff were attentive, when we could get there attention, the atmosphere was not too bad, but what is with those metal chairs. So uncomfortable.

Food came out different than described on the menu and the meat was inedible and the mashed potato was dried out and cold. When I spoke to the chef I got told 'too bad that's what you ordered' only when I asked for the manager was I offered something different. Rebecca the waitress was nice however.
Absolutely Great! Exceptional service, unbelievably great food and the best coffee I have ever had!Dont waste your time staying or eating anywhere else except Oaks marque bar and grill Mackay!
This restaurant has a large menu and the food is excellent. We only had breakfast this time, but have dined there before and was very pleased with the quality of food and service.
Very slow service, very ordinary food, no atmosphere and untrained staff. Wanted us to finish eating bread before serving meal!

The table service from rebbecca and tara was excellent, and chief Shaun's food was amazing,most definitely will be back
Good tasty food, cold drinks. Busy at times but the service has been good unless they are training staff.
