I visited this beautiful garden house on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered the Mediterranean tar and lemon curd tea with coffee. the mid-meer was the heaven. the bake is so flocky and tasty the filling was so tasteful. I took the recommended croissants and chocolate eclair to home. the croissants were huge, enough for 2 meals. I will definitely recommend this jewel of a caffe. the staff are friendly and were so happy that I left out to visit that they gave me a box of tasting baked. how sweet will definitely return.
On the way to a movie preview at The Windsor in Nedlands, I dropped into a local café for a quick very late lunch. I got far more than I bargained for at Martineaus Patisserie, including a wonderful trip down memory lane. Stepping inside I was instantly overtaken with childhood memories of standing in front of a cake counter trying to decide what to spend my savings on. The range of cute little meringues, including penguins brought back so many memories. The French patisseries were definitely the real thing too.
Martineaus has been my choice for desserts for over 15 yrs now. Picked up some lovely Sweet Petite Fours for a function not long ago and as usual, not disappointed at all and just like my wedding cake 10 yrs ago, all our guests LOVED the tastey delights. The chefs are fantastic! I don't know how they make it so deliciously good looking. Lovely helpful ladies in the shop. If only my waistine appreciated the food as I do.
This hidden, under stated cafe is at the back of a shopping complex on the Stirling hwy near Captain Stirling is a gem. Packed with locals coming and going for coffee, lunches and yummy patisseries. The patisserie here is to die for and is second to no other. Huge selection, reasonable...

the dame owners not friendly with french when they speak with their man in French! she is not hygienic serving food with their hands after she touches their hair and money it is not french for french people I do not think they have ever been to franchise for Australian taste
I have gotten a couple of bits and pieces taken away from here from time to time. The sweets are definitely a hit. The almond meal cake is heavenly! The laid back atmosphere along with suitable opening times are well suited to an afternoon hankering of coffee and cake!
yesterday we had a nice lunch in martineaus unfortunately my Takeaway coffee cover was not sure that this could happen the personal was incredibly friendly. it is so unusual to find such quality today I just want to acknowledge and thank them
I love the toasties here. Very well made and filling. The pastries are delicious. And the location is cute and easy to get up. I think danishes are the strong point

Arranged for a cake from Martineaus for a large family birthday. The cake was marvelous delightful to see and very tasty. Highly recommended.
