Gave restaurant a second chance after a bad experience I had while dining in the restaurant years ago. Ordered a large pie to be delivered by Slice, the restaurants preferred delivery service. Sat down to eat and my granddaughter pulled a long red hair out of her cheese. Called restaurant, was told rudely they did not deliver anything, if Slice delivery it they tampered with it. No one with red hair works there. I explained the hair was cooked in not laying on top of cheese. He insisted it did not come from his restaurant. My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while on our way to CVS and decided to try their slice of pizza. Walking in, the ambiance felt tailored to an elderly Italian community. Unfortunately, the pizza sauce lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. While it showed promise, overall, there was nothing remarkable about the experience. We won't be returning. Service: Dine in
Hidden gem of elmont, restaurant nestled in corner of small strip mall. Large portions, family owned, after one bite I thought my grandma was cooking in the kitchen. Everyone eventually starts talking to each other praising food, atmosphere. Owners make you feel like your eating in there home, go back in a heart beat. Give it a 10 if possible only goes up to 5
The Stuffed Pizza is my Go-To slice 99.9%... the other .1% it's a brushetta slice AND a Stuffed Slice. Love Frank his family for being so hospitable since the 1st time I ever walked into their hidden corner gem 30 years ago. Ordered a pie over here because of other reviews stating pizza is fabulous. The pizza is just okay, nothing memorable that will keep me coming back. The sauce and cheese were just average.
