We booked this restaurant 3 times during our stay. The first time we visited it was lovely. The service was excellent, polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was nice but it is opposite a group of other restaurants so it got busy with people the later the night went on. We would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The second visit was abysmal. I have never been treated in such a way before. We had a waitress come over to take our order. I ordered in French and everything I said, she responded in English. When she came with the wine she stopped speaking English and asked if we wanted to try the wine. We had had the wine before so I said, in French, no thank you it's fine. Second time for us in this restaurant. Always a good address. However disappointment, you cannot eat on the outside terrace at noon. Also, I ordered a fish soup but there was no rust to accompany it. Shrimp and tasty daurade. Regarding the service we issue a reservation about the waitress Margot who, we find, lack of finesse for this restaurant.
The cooked dishes are delicious and varied, we had the chance to stay at Hotel Van der Valk in half board, value for money impeccable and unbeatable, top staff, Eugène and Melanie are to leave the lot so their kindness and professionalism are top! To be recommended without hesitation...
Very pleasant frame. A little disappointed because the dish was not hot. The wine ordered was not tasted and when asked for water the server was not very pleasant. Addition a little salty!
