We just moved back from Texas to California and this was our favorite ramen in Frisco. Of course it originated from the Bay Area! Love this spot — the food is fresh and the vibe is hip. You can add yourself to the waitlist from Google or Yelp so your table is ready when you arrive. We ordered the Hakata Kontoksu (Pork Broth) and it was fabulous. You can order different spice levels, which works great for our family. We also had edamame and a draft Sapporo. The service is quick and the waiters are all friendly and helpful. Dined with a friend at Masrafuku on the recommendation of another friend. Our server, Michelle, was spectacular and walked us through the menu for the perfectly sized and delicious meal for two of the Chicken Paitan DX, delicately fried chicken Karage, and edamame. We hadn’t realized that the chicken comes on the side with flavorful, marinated bean sprouts, to be eaten separately from the noodle soup with extra chicken (DX extra chicken). 5 stars for all!
Definitely was under staff so service was spotty. Never got refill on water, had to ask for silverware when food came, and just not attentive. Will say the food surprisingly came out relatively quick when you order via phone at the table. Weird thing is they ask you to tip before any service provided as you pay when you order. The food overall was tasty but extremely expensive. Based on price, wouldn't say worth the value.
Still prefer the one in Japantown for the overall vibes BUT only if you can bear with the large crowds and long wait. Redwood City location has easy parking nearby and the same great taste. No reason to go to the city for Marufuku! Haven't tried the Oakladn location yet so I guess that's next in the near future.

I'm surprised how convenient this store to public parking lot and caltrain station.The Tonkotsu Ramen looked small however it was packed with ingredients and noodles. Soup wasn't salty or bland.My young teenager had the chicken with chicken leg. He gives 2 thumbs up ?
it is the tasties ramen I have ever eaten. there is nothing even close to it. the only problem is a waiting time, there is always a long line. you can reserve a line on yelp though. recommend!
Honestly this was some of the BEST ramen I have had. We have been wanting to order for a while. The line is always out the door. All the buzz was worth it. All four of us loved every bite.
Takoyaki had a lot of stuffing. Gyoza lacked uniqueness. They were no better than frozen ones from hmart. Ramen is decent. I wished they had heaters for their huge outdoor seating.

Chicken Paitan is the best ramen ever! It's like Grammas chicken soup. So full of flavor. Delicious. I could eat it everyday, as quoted by my Husband!
The portion sizes are generous and full of flavor. The Karaage Bowl is an exceptionally tasty side dish.
