As for the sushi, the pieces were a good size, fresh, and had a generous amount of wasabi, which I love. The service was outstanding on both occasions we visited. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really stood out to me. I don't often emphasize service in my reviews, but I can't stress this enough! Whether they were genuinely happy or just excellent at their jobs, the servers created a warm atmosphere. I hope the management treats them well because they truly deserve it! I have only two recommendations for improvement: 1. They need Wi-Fi! HOW have I never heard of this place??? I’ve never even noticed it despite thousands of trips up and down 202. It is SO GOOD! I was randomly looking for a quick place to pick up some food one day after walking my dog in South Hadley, and came across MasterChef (thanks google) which had some takeout sushi options. So I got a couple of veggie rolls and chicken hibachi. It was beyond words, just what I was looking for, I felt so satisfied afterwards. This is some of the best sushi I’ve had. I will absolutely be making this a regular on my list of places to grab some great food on my commute.

As a South Hadley resident it’s perfect that the best restaurant in the area is just down the street. Been taking my time to try everything on the menu and it’s ALL 5 stars or somehow better. All fresh, beautiful presentation, and taste out of this world. You can tell how much the staff cares by what will be put in front of you but also always open to great conversation. If we did not live here we’d drive hours for this amazing food prepared and served by amazing people. Thank you Master Chef!!!! ??

Suprising find in a small town! We were visiting friends locally and they recommended MasterChef for their sushi. I was pleasantly surprised not only at their prices, but also yhe quality of the rolls we had. We ordered 11 rolls from across the menu right after they opened and were driving home with them less than 30 minutes later. Great staff and cool environment. Definitely worth a stop! I spent three years in Japan and visited Korea several times, and I can confidently say that this place offers the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. The quality is truly outstanding, and it's hard to find anything better in the continental U.S. It's located in the charming little town of South Hadley, MA—what a hidden gem! Seriously, stop what you're doing and go eat there right now!

I had heard good things about master chef, and I could finally visit. long story short, they have good food. the rolling and sushi were good, but I was particularly surprised with the quality of the smokers. I visited during the lunchtime, but I will try to make the dinner menus as well.

The friendly staff was very helpful while I was picking up my takeout and took the time to explain the menu to me. The atmosphere is comfortable, making this my new favorite sushi spot!

Food was good really enjoyed the sushi the shoyu Ramien was ok the first sip was very good as it settles it become salty just a tad, but other than that it was good bulgogi was tasty Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful food! Good customer service. Every time I go I get something new and I'm pleasantly surprised! Definitely a favorite sushi place of mine!
