visited the night before a visit to the local castles. late checked in, hotel restaurant closed. went down to the lake and found this jewel open. friendly staff, but the most tasty eating so far in Germany on this 10-day trip. the rumpsteak must have been tried – the sauce and the rub make it incredibly good, and the matching sweet rounds off the dinner. cash money - does not take credit cards, but if you need a cash machine to get cash. would always return if I stayed.
very long service time, at medium business (35min), and again 40min until the food came. However, very friendly! eating was ok but for the salted prices (apple juice over 5€!) you can expect more. the sauce was cold and the meat was of poor quality because much cartilage and 2cm fat was on the swirl roast, the sose was unfortunately cold.
we found this little cozy restaurant by chance after the snobistic hotel restaurant had not let us in. their kartoffel soup, roastbeef, steak and dessert were excellent. the service was also great. if they have a heavy German food, but still want to have good German / local food, this is the right place.
very tasty allgäuer kitchen, plus sueffiges koessel brown from the barrel, super friendly wetsleut, and the longest the evening sun at the hops lake.We had very tasty maul bags, spinatspätzle and at the second time salat plate with black medaillons and Swiss sausage salad class- we come back!
