Maureen's Ice Cream And Desserts, Coffee Too

Everyone seems to rave about Maureen's, but I'm not sure why. The customer service left much to be desired, with an atmosphere filled with subtle biases and unwelcoming attitudes from the staff. We found ourselves waiting, with just one other customer also waiting for their ice cream, which was frustrating. I can't continue to support a place that lacks a genuine desire to provide excellent service. Furthermore, my daughter's brownie sundae was a letdown; it was mostly hot fudge with hardly any brownie or ice cream to be found. Overall, my experience at Maureen's was disappointing.

Location: Super cute decor and vibe off the boardwalk Service: great, we had to wait on a long line, but it moved along. The young lady who served us got our orders plus then went to the front and served us our tea and espresso drinks despite the long line. Food Drinks: ice cream was delicious, we went back 2x this week on our vacation. We had at least 8 12 different flavors amongst the family members. Coffee, baked goods and ice cream. Our family are all lactose intolerant so we love their dairy free ice cream flavors that taste very rich and buttery if you don't mind a little coconut flavoring from the coconut milk that is used to make it. The lines can be long during the busy season but it moves fast because of all the workers behind the counter. They do charge a fee for using credit cards but it is minimal.

The staff at this restaurant is incredible and very knowledgeable about allergens. I stopped by for some ice cream, and I'm so grateful for how they accommodated my child's allergies (dairy, egg, and nuts). Thank you, thank you! I really appreciated the variety of options available! As someone who is lactose intolerant, I haven't enjoyed a milkshake in years, but the vegan milkshake here was fantastic. Everyone in our family was happy with their selections!

The Coconut Ball Dessert was out of this world! The coconut coffee was the perfect pairing with the dessert! The double dunes were also fantastic! Highly recommended!

Local with local or in-house made food. Very nice staff and delicious items. Try the cookies and ice cream! Just steps away from the beach too.

One of the best vegan sorbets. Lots of flavors. Didn't try the vegan ice cream. Will try that next time

The coconut cream coffee is fantastic! Definitely worth trying a cup!
