the business is located near the south bank beach, had both indoor and outdoor seating. I came here on a week night; the service was fast had the classic hot chocolate in a hug, both the milk and the dark chocolate flavor. the two drinks were perfect; creamy milk with a very generous chocolate flavor. it is the perfect drink for a cold and windy night would be back to try the desserts in the future!
This is a nice cozy place for coffee and an essential for a chcolate lover to visit if in Southbank. I had opted for the dark hotchoclate with crunchy waffle balls. The crunch while u slurp that amazing hot chocolate which comes in their cute hugmug is really nice. The prices are slightly on the higher side but guess the quality of the chocolate n taste compensates for it!
Max burner has been in Australian for over years. when I first went, it was amazing and a game changer. they have not changed their menu in this time, so the guide has become stagnant. that said they make a decent hot chocolate and it is very familiar. stars because nostalgia and decent chocolate, good service, plentiful appetizer menu and a warm ambiente.
Ordered the chocolate souffle which looked inviting. It was gooey in the middle and chocolate came oozing out like lava. On first taste, the sweetness was just right. But eventually it got too rich for me. Luckily I hadn't ordered ice cream with it, otherwise I would have struggled to finish it. And $10.50 for a souffle?!! Way too overpriced. choc brownie sundae was huge, but it had alternative se ingredients that tasted like a satellite-Eugenics center. it was a beautiful dessert, with the perfect amount of chocolate brownie on the chocolate and vanilleeis. also had fondue chocolate and chocolate ball sprinkles. it was the perfect mix, thanks max burner, will be back.
Terrible staff very lazy We sat on a table for about 30 minute before the girl eventually came to clean it from the leftovers of previous customer Then we had to wait about 20 minute for our teas to come on table well after we finished the cake! cant believe how slow and careless the staff are this place used to be very good
My two teenage boys enjoyed their milkshakes, however, the place was filthy. The floor had cutlery, bits of paper and straws all over. No door to the kitchen so I could see the black bin bags and the bucket and dirty mop in the kitchen. Won't go back.
The chocolate is sooo goooddd,,, I tried the italian thick with dark chocolate. It was so good, not too sweet yet not too bitter, the taste was just perfect. I like it. This place is awesome if you wanna hangout with your friends Reserva una mesa ahora
Came here for treat for the kids as they did well at school. This place never fail to impress. Dessert were perfect! Wished we could lick every drop of the choc!
