First off let me say the food was as good as it ever has been, staff were friendly and polite. But as my wife said and I agree with her the atmosphere was not the same. She had commented on the lack of tablecloths and the non uniform dress of the staff. Personally I thought smart casual dress was slacks and a collared shirt I noticed one table with several gentlemen in tee 's and the table next to us a young man in sweatpants. Max DT used to be my favorite. The quality of food has definitely gone down hill my past two visits. Last night three of us ordered the Prime Hanger Steak special. They were inedible. Our reservation was for 6:15. We had theater tickets for 8PM. Our entrees didn’t come until almost 7:30! They were not busy. The manager apologized for the poor quality of the steaks and offered a replacement. Unfortunately we did not have time to wait for anything to be prepared. Very disappointing for a high-end restaurant.

We were put at a table next to 12 St Patrick revelers who has obviously been drinking and threw out “F” bombs all night. Very loud. We received our appetizer an hour after we sat down. Food was great. It is not a good sight when a server is taking 5 minutes to put the order into the system. I realize the times are not good right now but something could have been done about the noise. The manager just walked right by and said nothing.

We had the tuna nicoise tartare for a starter, the Jumbo Sea Scallops and Aged New York Strip with asparagus for entrees, the Chocolate Molten Souffle for dessert and the Local Lemonade and Jack of Hearts for cocktails. Everything was superb; absolutely delicious. In fact, I've never had a steak so tender and juicy before. The souffle was heaven. Truly a 5 star experience!
Perfect place for an upscale dinner before theater. Our server mentioned the note I had left in the Open Table app regarding the 8 pm curtain, and he made sure that we were on time. We had skirt steak and a venison special, both of which were delicious. There is an excellent wine list, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Food quality was good but not my taste. Solely a subjective matter. Great service and high quality food. Feel for the restaurant and the workers during these extraordinary times! hang in there!
Excellent service and the food was well prepared. We enjoyed our leisurely lunch and chatting with the waiter who was quite interesting!
