We travel from Maryland to visit family and always make sure to stop and grab a bite to eat at this restaurant! The pizza is delicious. There is ample parking available, even during the busiest hours. The service for take-out orders is excellent. For dinner, expect to spend between $10-20 per person. The food and service both receive a rating of 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere is a 4 out of 5. Paid parking is available in a nearby parking lot with plenty of parking spaces.
The service at this restaurant is good, but unfortunately the pizza does not live up to expectations. They are stingy with the cheese and toppings, for example there is only about one slice of ham on the entire large Hawaiian pizza and only 10 pineapple tidbits. The price per person is $20-30 for takeout. The food received a rating of 1, while the service and atmosphere both received a rating of 4.
The plain slice was flavorful, saucy, and had a nice crisp to it. However, the experience was slightly marred by a cashier questioning a cook about a tuna salad sample, which made me hesitant to try it. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 10, the service a 3 out of 10, and the atmosphere a 5 out of 10.
I was in town for my 60th SPFHS Reunion and Max's delivered Pizzas to our get together at the Italian American Club... All the pies were great and my wife said it was the best Pizza she ever had (she loved the Cheese, White Margherita). We had a small party at Max's last night and everyone had a great time. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and on top of everything. The food was delicious and served perfectly without ever rushing us. Thank you Max's and Staff for everything! We look forward to our next visit.
When I'm not cooking the kids always want to go to Max's, my favorite is chicken saltimbocca, but they're always trying something different and never disappointed. Max's is our go-to Pizzeria. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
This place was not enjoyable because of the arguing going on amongst employees and the lack of decency for customers. Also the table was dirty and the waiters looked unenthused. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
