Look past the very tourist options on the menu (pizza, pasta etc) and dive into the Canarian menu. Padron peppers stuffed with almogrote (a cheese sauce from La Gomera) and drizzled with golden syrup were fantastic, the Curious salad/Crab salad is less salad and more mousse/terrine like, but delicious spread on bread and a generous serving. The pork with the wrinkled potatoes and mojo picon sauce was very tasty. Strawberry cheese cake was a slight let down too salty from either the cheese or the crumb. Sangria’s packed a punch and all reasonably priced.

Great food, great service, one of the best restaurants on the island, best food we had so far since we came. The boss is a nice person, highly recommended!

Nice food and friendly service with the cook tuna dish very creative and tasty. Beautiful and quiet distance from the busy hostels on the promenade

I was looking for a restaurant serving Paella and came over Mayte 2. I loved the way it was served the table and the quality was great.
