This is one of the best McDonalds in the area, time proves it. It has its faults, but they all do. If you want to scrape the McDonalds barrel, go to Maghull, the experience their is worth it. Last week me and Mrs went for lunch. One big Mac Meal and One large fries with 2 double cheeseburgers for Mr Greedy here. Order girl very polite, had to park up to wait, food came. chips cold, so waited in 'grill bay ' as woman next to still waiting. said fries were cold, got apology (not the modern grunt) and hot fries came out quickly. Yes they should have been hot first, but a speedy fix. The burgers were bult tidy (see Maghull reviews) and tasted as it should.
We got just eat from here and it was not good. Let’s start with the food being lukewarm which is understandable as it was on just eat but not good either. The chips were very soggy and hardly had any Salt on them. The medium portion looked the same size as a small too the chip cardboard was half full and had dents in it. They were ok in taste. The chicken nuggets were decent but not as good as they can be in other places. However the milkshake was awesome. Overall not really impressed. I’d recommend you eat elsewhere
Terrible service. Drive thru. Waiting for a car in front for 20 mins. When we got out the car to see what hold up was the operative serving, Gemma, was terrible just said she was dealing with the customer first no appreciation of the hold up or the 15 or so cars behind them. Cold food. Errors made food to top it off but no way were we going back. No apology from Gemma but the food operative who gave the food did say sorry.
Unacceptable and unfair. Foreign drivers given priority as they operate 3 accounts each. There are drivers using one account only who struggle for jobs. No other McDonald's will let these drivers pick up more than one order and Skelmersdale McDonald's hand 4+ orders to each driver.

Women with the head set on tonight 28th September at about 7pm think her name badge said ADA ... shouldn't be on that kind of job if she cant communicate with customers in a correct way... won't be going to that MC Donalds drive thru again I will stick to the Tesco one instead
Currently sat in the drive through, have been waiting for nearly 20 minutes, can’t understand why this ‘fast food’ restaurant is so slow? Not the first time this has happened. It’s not good enough. Needs to be sorted.
9 times out of 10 you have to park up when you attend the drive through! Almost every time you order they get it wrong! Concentrate on serving the people in your shop instead of Uber eats drivers!!!!
I really needed to talk to a member of staff regarding my order. I found it impossible to talk to someone as not one staff would pick up the item phone. I must have called 15 times. Very unacceptable

Usually go through the drive-thru. There is ALWAYS something missing or wrong with the order. Usually have to park up and wait even though I I pre-ordered with the app.
Half the order was missing and the bit we did get was partly wrong. Food was cold. Response from staff was very poor. Will not go here ever again.
