Mcglynn's Free House

First of all, I don’t understand the many people who say they were catching a train and went in for a drink. This place is nowhere near the train station or entrance. In fact it’s quite hidden, down a long street and tick around the bend. But anyway… this is a British pub as they used to be all over Kings Cross before it was all ‘gentrified’ and turned into pony’s wine bars. So all those tourists you see here complaining about not getting silver service, we’ll go some place else and spend £100 on a round of drinks and a sarnie. Studying abroad, one might say I tried to explore every British pub I could find. While stumbling around Kings Cross, I came across this place. My god, I have never felt more welcome in a pub where people from all walks of life can congregate with a pint and a smile. A great place for football games, I had the best six months frequenting this pub. Do try and visit if you can. Also, one a side note and I hope management sees this, I will be returning to London to come back to my old stomping ground and can't wait to once again step in McGlynn's Free House in November!

Our group had been to this pub before and after a curry gathering in London. The ambiance at the pub was fantastic. It was relatively quiet during our initial visit, but became very busy when we returned after our meal. They offer a great selection of drinks, both on tap and bottled, at reasonable prices considering the location in London.

A large group of us headed to this pub after a meal. Most like real ales whereas a couple of us are into malt whisky. Often difficult to get a place with a good range of each but this one was just great with a wide selection of both. This cozy pub is popular among locals and has a friendly atmosphere. However, please note that they have temporarily stopped serving food during the COVID crisis and have yet to restart their kitchen. As of my visit, they were only accepting cash payments, although I believe this is only temporary.

Came out of St Pancras and just around the corner we found this little gem of a pub! Nice and friendly with the sweetest little black and white pub cat, she’s adorable! We only had one drink as we were making our way to our hotel but we could have stayed all day, great little place!

We asked a cabbie outside Kings Cross station for a local pub recommendation and he directed us to Mcglynn ‘s pub a short walk away. Cracking little pub with friendly landlord and reasonably priced drinks for London.

Every time I go here I am astounded by the quality of the beer, the food and the customer service. Really an incredible place to go. Always a pleasure and never a chore! Reserva una mesa ahora

This pub is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Just one glance and you can tell. I definitely need to come back soon. The food was excellent that day.

This is a great little pub, what you expect of a neighborhood pub. Came on a Saturday night and had nice local atmosphere.
