Me Wah is a fine dining Chinese restaurant. Be prepared to pay high prices for small portions. Their service is excellent, very attentive. We came here with the intention of having Peking duck but because there was no website or photos of the menu it was not until we sat down that we realized they only served it in entree style 4 pieces for $28. The duck itself succulent, tender not dry but unfortunately the skin was not crispy. Hubby said he enjoyed the crab dumplings. The roast pork belly was also a let down, with only traces of meat attached and mostly fat $32 for 16 small pieces of fat. The sweet and sour pork ribs were good not at all too batter y, but not at all worth $28. Not sure eit...

The restaurant has plenty of space between tables, without the disruption of trolleys pushing against your chair! While some of the dim sum offered were the usual favorites, many dishes were impressively above average. There were some unique items I had never encountered before, like a crunchy cheung fan. I missed the moment it was ordered since I was in the restroom, but I heard everyone rave about its wonderful taste and texture! Most dishes were also presented more elegantly than what you typically find elsewhere. I regret not returning for dinner to try their main menu, as I feel I missed out. The location is a bit odd, situated in a pedestrian area near pharmacies and questionable mas...
The quality of the food at this restaurant is very poor, and the prices are exorbitant. We paid $400 for lunch for three people, and the green tea they served us must have been made with tea leaves that were over four years old. The lobster we ordered was supposed to weigh 1.2 kg, but it clearly did not reach that weight; the maximum it could be was around 0.8 kg, and we were charged $308 for it. Additionally, the noodles with the lobster tasted moldy, indicating that the food was expired and long past its use-by date. If you're traveling and considering this restaurant, be cautious! They seem to prioritize profit over quality, using enticing dips and a seemingly endless supply of live seafo...
It is the first meal room in Hobat, and we are not scheduled to go (the tourist is not aware of what is expected????) the manager, very nice, gave us a place in the environment, is a high dinner, and the cafeteria service is good! We have some meal for two people, the last of which is a salvage, a chewing and a blue. I thought that I was like wet in the same way as a lunch, and later found it dry, tacit, but with some salinity. The penis is good, but I myself prefer to burn the penguin. Blue is normal. The last two people have spent more than 80 knives, and I feel that this price can be eated in Melbourne and Sydney, but this is not enough. This time, when the sea is fresh (more than in the... we have ordered roasted duck, baked eggs with seay, slowly cooked bark, roasted rice and stir roasted vege. I will not recommend the baked eggs with souly, because the way it was cooked completely the fresh taste and the sweet of the seay. bark meat is very soft and tasty as it is slowly cooked. the other dishes are also very beautiful. service is average. we waited for at least 10 minutes to finally have someone for our job and waited for 20-30 minutes until the roasted duck appears on our table. Finally, the price is not too expensive with its service and food quality. similar eating in melbourne is approx. 40% cheaper.
Finally, we found a restaurant that truly deserves a 5-star rating! As a visitor from Melbourne, I can honestly say it puts many of the dining options back home to shame. The customer service at Me Wah is the best and most attentive I've ever experienced. Not to mention, the food is freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. The seasoning is perfect—just the right amount and not overly salty. The decor is stunning as well. The prices are reasonable and completely justified for the quality offered. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place!
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the food but I did take away last night. I ordered the large fried rice, wonton, prawn omelette got 4 pieces of dimsim(for free). The fried rice tasted like it was overnight rice, it's very very hard to chew. The dimsum was horrible, it's supposed to be filled with pork but it tasted like flour and it's soggy bc they added soy sauce in it. The prawn omelette was bad and it was soaked with oyster sauce. WTF. the wonton soup was ok (tasted like ajinomoto) but the wonton was so bad....i could taste the flour.
Very tasty place with professional customer services! We ordered a seafood noodle and a plate of bok choy, cost around $60 AUD. The food is awesome, I would say even better than most of the Chinese restaurant in Sydney. The only thing is the price. I will recommend it to people who don’t mind the money too much. May be a good restaurant if they don’t enforce minimum $30 per person limit, when you can stuff yourself for less in group. Left the restaurant because of this stupid policy, it’s not about money but respect!!
