I was recommended to give this place a try and boy do I regret it! So I ordered 5 full monty rolls, to be told they are too busy so only doing sausage and bacon. Fair enough! 5 of them please. On the last one they tell me “we have ran out of sausages”.... but I ordered before other people. Wouldn’t you check and not take any further orders? Instead of waiting till my last one to tell me? In Brampton High Street you will find several vans and Police cars all Queuing for the filled rolls and home made pies. It is a VERY popular venue. The butchers counter is renowed for high quality meats and popular with locals and visitor's from the local campsites in summer. We often buy the ready made Lasagne or large steak pies when we have visitor's at home. Our relatives ask us to take pies and ready made Lasagne when we visit them they are so Good!
Thank you so much for my latest order. Just had the lasagne, everyone enjoyed it. The pie we had a few days ago again, absolutely amazing. The mince was used for a spag bol and I can’t fault it. Chicken was used for my roast on Sunday. Sausages went down a treat with some mash. All in all I will be ordering again with out a doubt. A friend recommended me to use them in a conversation we had a few must be months ago and I am so glad that I did order.
Had to leave after ten minutes, couldn't stand on my walking stick any longer. Four staff going about their business, which is apparently ignoring customers. One staff member dealing with customers ordering sandwiches. No butchery service. A lot of people on TA whittle on about traditional local shops and businesses. Many will not survive Covid 19. Let's be clear, it's not the fault of the virus.

We live not to far away we've had lots of pie's but we ordered a collection of meat staek joints it was the best meat all was above the waight they said tender taste our of this world our butcher from now on thank you Measures.
We always try to get our meat from here although we are currently living in Buckden, we are due to move to Brampton in the next few months so plan to use the butchers more often, The pies are out of this world!
An absolute must visit, both for the pies and for the selection of lunch options (filled baguettes, pork pies and scotch eggs). Also does great quality fresh meat and poultry. Very friendly and helpful staff.
As well as the excellent pork chops there is a large range of very good homemade meat pies and at lunchtime a very good selection of filled baguettes and rolls.

Measures sell the best home made pies. Bombardier is my fave. The baguettes are also very popular be prepared for a queue at lunchtime. Great local butcher.
