Meating Steakhouse

Meating Steakhouse was everything we expected and more. We traveled all the way to Portugal from California and this was on our list of places we have to try. We were greeted by the owner (bartender) when we arrived for our reservation. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of people sitting outside having dinner at all the other restaurants. Our servers were beyond attentive, answered all of our questions, and helped us decide on what to have for dinner. We ordered the Spicy Tuscan sausage and a Ceasar salad as a starter. This is a regular meat restaurant, but to be honest, I've been in much better ones. The food is ok, although the quantity of the servings is small. The prices are considerably high. The price-quality ratio, in my opinion, is poor. The positive aspect of the restaurant is that they were fast, and the staff was quite efficient. Also, the location is very pleasant. When we visited the restaurant, almost all the surrounding restaurants were full, while this one was almost empty.

We visited Lissabon with a party of four friends from the Netherlands in order to see the City and a footballmatch of Benfica. We had a pleasant stay in Almada and there we had diner two times at Meating Steakhouse. The sirloinsteaks and rib-eye were excellent, but even beter were the desserts. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food and the service was just incredible. Out waitress, Inege (sp? was so attentive and knowledgeable. The steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was top notch. Great price too! We will be back.

Not cheap but worths the money as the food is really good (starters and main course). One of the deserts was really good (raspberry delight) but the carrot pie was average (although original).

This is a superb restaurant. The food is great and the wine top class. The service was delightful. We had a wonderful evening and can't wait to go back.

Espaço simpático e acolhedor com um staff super atencioso. A comida é fabulosa e as sobremesas de chorar por mais. A visitar muitas vezes!
