Now I know I probably eat more than I should and I don't have the greatest grip of portion control but this is definitely not a generous serve and certainly not shareable between any more than 1.5 persons. We dined as a party of five on a Wednesday evening in November 2020. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we decided to order two bottles of wine and share our meals family-style. What a wonderful spot to savor delicious food with friends! The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and everything ran smoothly. The dishes were intriguing, particularly the short ribs and the lamb pizza.
I've heard great things about Mecca Bah for many years but never had the chance to visit until today. I was really impressed by the service, the fantastic food, the cleanliness, and the incredibly affordable prices. We ordered two mixed kebab plates, which were excellent, along with a fantastic pizza and drinks for just $110. I can't wait to try more items from the menu soon!
The Middle Eastern food here is quite westernized, but it's really tasty. I highly recommend trying the pides and pizza. The kebabs are good, but I do think the portions are a bit on the small side. I was surprised they don’t have lamb mince kebabs! The drink menu is great, and the ambiance is nice (although I do prefer the Brisbane location).

Its the 4th time I've been to the Mecca Bah on the Gold Coast and its superb. Every time it just amazes me with the flavours and atmosphere. Great staff, good prices, highly recommended you try it.
My group and I stopped by this restaurant and enjoyed the pleasant outdoor ambiance. Our server was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. However, the food was hit or miss.
Today, I had a fantastic meal at OzMecca Bah, known for having the best Borek in town. I ordered 2 mezze dishes and a tagine, and it was absolutely delicious.

The staff were friendly and the service outstanding. We tried a few dishes between us and enjoyed them all. Very good .
If you enjoy coffee, I recommend trying the espresso martini over the marshmallow one.
