This restaurant is a hidden gem for those looking for vegan and gluten-free options. We ordered the mega breakfast and breakfast omelette and both were delicious. The omelette was fluffy and the mega breakfast was satisfying. The hot chocolate and coffee were excellent as well. The staff was very friendly and even brought water and vegan dog treats for our dogs. We also bought some cake to take home, but we'll need to walk off our breakfasts before indulging. Overall, it was a great experience, but the only downside is that we live over 200 miles away so we can't visit regularly.
ben (megafauna) gave me a large chocolate cake with different flavors (all vegan) for a small meeting that my daughter last night held. the chocolate cake was so moist the cupcakes were all absolutely delicious. no crumb was left. everyone gave comments on how amazing they were. from my first contact, by email, bens reply were so impressive prompt. he sent me a big list of cakes to choose for me. I ordered the chocolate cake then asked him to decide about the cupcake flavor for me. what a brilliant choice he made. I would be very recommending his cake
I am not vegan but like to eat healthily . We had a delicious falafel salad, which was fresh, colourful and great value for the portion size. Ordered chips and these were scrumptious skin on fries with the best vegan mayo I have had. Super lovely attentive staff and the tumeric late is soo tasty too. Do make the effort to find this little friendly gem!
This charming little restaurant is top-notch! The service is impeccable, and the staff members are delightful. Despite not being vegan myself, I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious food and drinks. I was surprised to learn that everything on the menu is vegan. I will definitely make the trip back to Southport to enjoy another meal here!

the rocky roads can not recommend very good enough. if they want cake and a hot drink, megafauna is the place to go in southport. fantastic coffee and great selection of other hot drinks such as turmeric latte and london fog. Besides, it's the only caffe I've ever found that has a maguire on the menu.
The vegan cafe is fantastic and has recently relocated near Wesley Street. The cooked breakfast included delicious sourdough toast, flavorful scrambled tofu, and all the usual sides. The cafe offers a diverse selection of breakfast and lunch choices, with quick and friendly service.
What a hidden gem! Visiting Southport found this vegan cafe on Google Maps. Great vegan food (I was with a meat eater who thoroughly enjoyed) and friendly local service. Will definitely go back if I’m in the area.
Tasty food good enough to appease vegans and carnivores alike, with really friendly staff. It's the perfect little pit-stop for lunch; you'll find it in the Cambridge Arcade. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
