This buffet was excellent— even better than the Mehran in Pittsburgh. The place was bustling, with tables full and a banquet happening in the side room. The chicken biryani was tender with fluffy rice, not dry at all. The Paya beef feet (all meats halal) was outstanding, and my husband loved it! The naan was thick and fluffy, the best I've had because I prefer it that way. The chole was just right. The beef nihari was tender, with the meat falling apart, and very flavorful. My husband’s family, who are all experts in this cuisine, agreed the food was very good! The spinach with aloo was delicious, and I enjoyed the aloo achar, which I hadn’t tried before—it had a distinctive, slightly pickle...
I first went to Mehran restaurant for lunch. They had good variety of food and the food was good too. So I had them cater food for my upcoming Aftar/dinner. I must say their staff was very polite and courteous, especially the manager Mr Saood. He's the reason I placed my first order at the restaurant. I ordered their butter chicken, Chana masala, dahi baras and goat pulao. (the dahi baras cld be better though) Our guests loved the food. The quantity was ample. I had some last minute extra guests and the food was plenty. That's a huge plus for ordering next time. Good food and good quantity.
This restaurant serves amazing food. Every item on the menu is delicious. The quality is so good that you may start reconsidering your gym membership. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. It tends to get a bit crowded, which is a testament to how great the place is. The prices are reasonable. This is the best restaurant around the Bay area. You must give it a try.
Totally recommend the baigen bhartha if you like eggplant. Seekh kabob was typical/good. Paratha. Tasty, soft. Dense so it was filling... I only ate a quarter when i usually eat half. Service was nice. We were the only ones dining in for weekday lunch time. The facilities restrooms just feels old; not a fault of their own unless they were to renovate.

We utilized Mehran's catering services for our son's birthday, and the management was extremely cooperative. The food was fresh and served hot. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend Mehran to anyone looking to host a catering event. Plus, they offer custom menu for catering events.
The restaurant offers delicious, authentic Indian cuisine with excellent customer service. The ambiance is lovely and the restaurant is very clean. The staff, including the owner, is all incredible.
I went to the weekend buffet and the taste and quality of the food was excellent. It was definitely worth the price and I will be going back again for sure!
