the first time in this restaurant, and it was not too bad. had the swedeak with potatoes and gravy and a side of mais. meat was very delicate with a good taste, but the carrots had something else to wish. they could say they were right away. gravy had a good taste, but had the consistency of more like a pudding. the mais was excellent. also the brot was very fresh and tasteful. had coffee with my dessert of chocolate drip butter cake, the coffee had a little a burning taste than it was for a past. the cake was very rich and had an excellent taste, but next time I would have to bring someone as I said it was just too rich. in all a very good experience, but we have to try her next time, or ha...
The place was Packed and probably 20 people waiting (That's a good sign) and it only took about 10 minutes to get seated. Food is always great, The Best Coleslaw around, I call it Coleslaw Candy, and the broasted stuff is awesome. Service is better than good and in my mind the best thing about Mel-O-dee is the old school restaurant atmosphere, it's like walking back in time 50 years. Definitely my favorite restaurant around here.
This is a great place to eat. Good home cooked food/meals, variety to choose from! They have daily specials or choose off their regular menu! Meals, burgers, salads, home made bread, and their Cole slaw is to die for! Staff is always friendly and courteous. There is sometimes a wait to get seated but because there very popular. But well worth the wait. You can also call and place an order and then pick it up! LUV THIS PLACE!!!!
small town dining room, from the beaten away. not fancy, only a lot good eating with large portions. I was told about this place of friends. I traveled 20 miles to try their all you can eat, only Monday, fish fry. the first portion was more than I could eat. the prices are very reasonable. I saw other dinners that looked tempting. only a family restaurant. try to see if they pass thru or are close.

the first time to eat here and the service, the atmosphere and the eating were all wonderful. I know they're known for her huhn, but when I looked over and wobble on the menu, I had to try, and besides my mom, this is by far the best I had. I wish I could remember our server name to give her a scream because she was so friendly, and you could just tell her what she did. will be back without doubt.
it is a decent place to pick up breakfast, the prices are a little high for what they get and the choices are limited. the server delivered us coffee and water fast, but no cream or spoon and let us wait a long time for them after being on the ball. the general consensus with our group of 6 was the next time we went to bob evans.
Very good home cooking. We enjoyed our breakfast.I ordered french toast with blueberries and bacon. Meals arrived hot. Bacon was cooked perfectly and the French toast tasted great.The meal came out quickly even with a busy morning crowd.

This place can't be beat for great food. It's nice to know that no matter when you place an order, it always tastes the same. The quality and taste is like eating homemade food.
