This was our groups second visit to Melting Point - On our first visit, months ago, we liked the atmosphere and quirky décor. The service then was friendly, but slow and the food was excellent. We thought we would try this venue again today, 02/02/2017. We booked one week ago, for 7.30am, for a group of 9. We pre ordered our food and drinks, the day before, to assist with the preparation, as this breakfast was prior to going to work. It's heartening to find a really great coffee/lunch/catch up spot in the middle of the suburbs, especially one with character and which styles itself differently to the cookie-cutter cafes such as Jamaica Blue, Caffisimo and so on. The Melting Pot is an absolute gem because the coffee is very good, but the meals are even better. Drawn from a range of different cultures (hence the name of the place), the dishes served at TMP tickle the taste buds and offer culinary delights that are healthy, substantial and very tasty! I stopped in here a few weeks ago for a quick takeaway coffee and somehow always found myself going back before work. The service was super efficient and very friendly. This morning I went for breakfast with a girlfriend and was not disappointed. The food was great, the servings not too massive which is usually an issue these days and everything came out pretty quickly! My girlfriend had a few problems with her vegan meal coming out correctly but once that was fixed it was all good! I'm looking forward to trying them for dinner one night - great little local, hope the evening meals are as good!
Lovely atmosphere, very trendy little cafe. Went here for a catch up and although didn't order any food off the menu we did try two of their cakes. My friend had lemon/passionfruit slice which she loved, and mine an orange slice (super orange-y btw!) which was nice. Coffee wasn't anything amazing, but it wasn't horrible either. Overall this place was very nice, and I would like to give their food a go in the future after seeing previous reviews.

Choice of coffee bean, we went for strong, of course! Good flavour, prompt service...3 minutes to arrive at table after order.Fusion menu east meets west from middle eastern to Asian, European and Australasian favourites, throw in some South American and you get the picture. We had the smoked salmon and the pulled pork sandwich. Massive portions, fresh food, friendly service.
Went there this morning great coffee. Asked to see menu for lunch / dinner a bit pricey also no senior discount as with most places these days.Appalled to see high BYO corkage charges when they do not serve alcohol, but what hit me in the eye was$2 corkage charge for each stubby,most people drinking beer do not use a glass what is this cost for?Will we go back ...... nah
The cafe is located outside of the main shopping center but well worth a detour if shopping. We received our coffee promptly you could taste the quality. There was a large variety of breakfast options. I had the pulled pork which was delicious. The serving was very generous as was my partners and well presented. Decor was also nice. Highly recommend.
Saturday morning wonderful breakfast French toast and pork pulled sandwich with great coffee.I enjoyed looking at the paintings, the cafe had a lovely vibe with good food.The best way to start the weekend. I also ended up buying a painting ... I will return to this little gem.

Here you get real Italian style coffee the Aussie way. Meaning you get for example a Latte but with a rich coffee flavour or a Short Mac that is strong but not sour or bitter. Just perfect. We will be back
We only had a coffee here but there is good coffee the sweets were good and there is a nice ambience but most of all they have very friendly service
