First a warning for Westerners - MyRasa is strict Halal - so no alcohol for sale or BYO which is not on their website. Secondly the high rating of previous reviews may have lifted out expectations too high.The menu is confused between Western and Melayu. The Western menu is focused on "brown food" prepared halal so it is quite popular for visiting Muslims. We've experienced tour buses pulling up with Muslim visitors whom all (pre) order the western dishes. Onto the Malay menu which is why we are there. We were invited to have dinner at this cozy family run Malay restaurant: MyRasa in Manning - where the food is tasty and feels like home cooked food. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.The menu selection is small but I think thats a good thing - so they can have a range that is tasty and cooked well. Even have 5x Western meals to choose from. Ended up at this excellent Malaysian restaurant by accident as trying to find somewhere open on a public holiday between Christmas and New Year. Were very happy with our meals - both delicious and very reasonably priced. A friend had the crispy salmon ($26) and I had an excellent nasi goreng ($13). I will be going back to try the salmon and other delicious meal options on the menu. Highly recommended!

Nice decor and a friendly service with a smile. Traditional Malaysian flavours with modern presentation. Only disappointment was the Teh Tarik. Reasonable pricing. We didn't try the Western flavours. There were also a few more Malaysian items on the menu we couldn't fit in so definitely going back to try! All in all it is a good place to go for a good meal in a warm and friendly setting.
From previous reviews we were expecting better. The beef Mee Rebus Johar was edible but not tasty. The beef had a reheated taste about it. The chicken satay suffered the same fate but the peanut sauce was fairly good. On the positive side The staff were very friendly.

Modern fitout restaurant located in Manning. 15 minutes from Perth CBD. The food is always consistent. My favourite dish is the Mee Rebus Johor. The restaurant is clean and portions are good. Would highly recommend

nice set up and service was great just found the food lacking, Been to many other malay restaurants and feels like they flavour has been watered down at Myrasa.
