As always, the food is great and exactly what you expect at the melting pot. However, every trip we make to this restaurant starts off on a difficult note with the hostess. No matter how close you are to your reservation time, no matter how many empty tables they have, you always have to wait at least 10 minutes for them to finish their conversation, tidy up their papers, and finally get around to seating you. We thought that perhaps we were having one off experiences, but this has happened for the last three visits. Different times of day, different hosts hostesses. We have been Melting Pot fans for years. We went for the first time right after getting married in 2014 and have made it a special night once (rarely, twice) a year. We’ve been in Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Columbus, and more. The food is still good, but we really go for the experience. The experience in general has really lost its magic. The few different restaurants we have been to over the past few years have remodeled and feel more like an Applebees. The prices have gone up from around $40 a person to $60 each while nothing has really improved to reflect the prices. The service was quite underwhelming for a $225 meal. To make matters worse, we had a $10 coupon from one of those coupon books sold by neighborhood kids, and our server promised to apply the discount at the end but didn't follow through. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would recommend choosing a nicer steakhouse that offers better value for your money.
For the cost of the meal the ambiance was lacking. The restaurant looked more like an inexpensive fast meal place. The wait staff was nice but could also step up their appearance and delivery of service. The fondue was good but not worth the price. I have gone to much higher end restaurants and paid less!

Our food was great and the Valentine’s Day package we got was a great value. The highlight of our visit though was our waitress Kyra B. She was so friendly, funny, and attentive that we were absolutely blown away. We will return soon and we’ll be requesting her when we make our reservation.
Nicky A was our server, He was really good he explained the menu to us, made sure we were always good! He made the night and experience amazing!! 10/10 He asked what our occasion was and made a cute plate of our date!
They sat our romantic dinner in a small room with 2 groups of 8+ each. SO loud!!!
Food is delicious and service is excellent Jace was our server. Pricey, though.
