Menad - Reserva de mesa

Dropped in for dinner after getting off the train and not feeling like cooking. So glad we did. Been here a few times but this place feels like it has got better and is cooking some of the best flavoured Turkish food I’ve had in the area. The chicken shish was incredible. It was moist beautifully spiced and the chilli sauce is just on the right side of spicy aromatic flavour to accompany. I’m a massive hummus kavurma fan and won’t have anything else to enjoy with their delicious bread. We had a delightful French Sauvignon and the restaurant was busy with all age groups and group sizes, definitely a sign you are doing something well when you attract such a mixed clientele. The staff are very welcoming and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. My husband and I shared a starter of humus and dip, the bread was delicious. We also shared a meat moussaka and a sheesh, both were excellent. There are so many tasty things on the menu I look forward to returning. We took our 10 month old baby and they provided a high chair. They also didn't mind that we were feeding him a bit of our meal plus some baby puree. We did go when the restaurant opened so we wouldn't annoy too many diners!

Celebrated with friends for a 75th Birthday lovely clean comfortable restaurant. Friendly staff and Chef. Food was amazing, best Turkish around. A huge thank you to Jimmy for making this occasion so special for my friend. We had such a wonderful afternoon. Definitely will be back and would definitely recommend Menad to our family and friends.

The food was tasty and service was great, the only reason for the 4 stars is as they are so popular you are asked to vacant your table once have finished. If I had gone knowing this I would have rated differently. Reserva una mesa ahora

Another great evening at Menad. Superb food and great service. A brilliant independent restaurant and highly recommended. We were very well looked after. This is a true gem in Billericay. Thank you.
