I had a bad experience with this place over the summer. I had written a bad review because order was wrong. As you can see in my screenshot below, instead of acknowledging that the restaurant messed up he said because it was a handroll. No it doesn't matter what kind of roll i ordered, I received something k didn't order at all. The owner CLEARLY doesn't remember my order. Pretty much a d excuse not relevant to my complaint. Just admit your restaurant messed up and move on. I don't like excuses. I did give them another chance and when my food came today I had a long black hair in my Crab roll. not a bad sushi spot, but also not memorable in my opinion. service was good, though they got my order wrong. they did fix it ASAP and came out with the right food. I was annoyed as I placed my order 30 minutes ahead of time and had to wait another 15-20 minutes for them to fix my order. the guy who took my order only took down 3 of the 6 items I ordered. don't know how that happened. sushi wasn't bad. house salad with the ginger sauce was good. my parents didn't have much to say. I will say that having a weekend lunch special was definitely a plus. what would've been 3 stars is 4 because of the lunch specials lol
The food fell all over my car. I called to let the.know and get a refund and I was laughed at and hung up on when I. Said I didn't want a replacement and wanted a refund. I brought the food and the teriyaki soaked bag back to show as proof to get a refund and the man tried to attack me, luckily for me, the older women stopped him. The older man was apologetic and nice. They gave me my refund and the younger man, we one who tried to attack me, yelled at me to never come back. Have pictures to prove it.
To start off, wow! The Godzilla roll and the sushi sandwich are a must-try at this restaurant. They were incredibly tasty and delicious. The person who came up with the idea of the sushi sandwich is a genius! Additionally, the chicken tempura was one of the best I've ever had. I frequently order from this restaurant and absolutely love it.

I've been a long customer in this little, warming, sweet restaurant. eating is always delicious and fresh. the owner is friendly and attentive. I am very grateful that the restaurant was opened during the pandemic. there was so many joy to go through this hard time. recommend this place
I visit this nice place often! This is the best place to have a bite. I go to this spot frequently. The meals are very tasty, the staff is welcoming and the prices are decent. I enjoy eating in this restaurant for a good meal.
We have found our new favorite sushi restaurant! The fish is incredibly fresh and the variety of rolls on the menu is fantastic. Don't hesitate to give this place a try - you won't be disappointed!
Absolutely delicious. We were bored of other sushi in Merrick so this was a pleasant surprise.2 weeks later and it's just as good. Tempura and crab salad, the veggie dragon roll were gorgeous. TY

I have lived in Merrick for 6 years and finally found a sushi spot that I love. The specialty rolls are fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.
