Wow! I never would have guessed such a great little Mexican restaurant would be in Palos Heights. I just ate here by myself for the first time and the service was wonderful, and it's a charming little restaurant, and the food is fantastic. Started off with chips and salsa and their salsa verde is especially delicious. I ordered the Chicken with Molé sauce and it was FANTASTIC. I mean I almost licked the plate It was so damn delicious. I'm completely stuffed but dying have a flan... But I will definitely have to wait until next time. And there will DEFINITELY be a next time. I can't wait to come back here again and try something else!
There are very few good spots for Mexican food in the Palos/Orland area that aren't major chains. Meshico has really good prices for really good food. The presentation of the food is very well done, and the tacos are great too! My biggest critique is that the nachos get really soggy if you order for delivery. This doesn't take away from the rest of the dish, as its all very good, but you'll have to eat with a fork. The tacos are tasty, creative, and much better than most of the restaurants in the area. It's becoming a family favorite for us.
Yikes what to say here. I am what you would call a taco aficionado and in my 45 years on this planet have literally eaten tacos all over the world. This is by FAR and I mean FAR the BEST MEXICAN FOOD I have ever eaten PERIOD. This place is so hospitable and the ambiance is so quaint when we first tried it I was hoping I would like it and add a spot on our Taco Tuesdays but this place delivered a knock out punch to every restaurant we would normally go to as a family. Steak Burrito is Shredded Chicken Tacos are Flautas are Guacamole
Our office orders lunch from here often and the food is so fresh and just delightful. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys nice fresh mexican dishes! we have never been disappointed! I dined in my first visit to try it out and the steak tacos and pico were great. The elote is amazing too along with the pickled carrots, cauliflower, and peppers!! love it. Thank you Meshico Lisa

The chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce was delicious! My wife really enjoyed the veggie burrito as well.
Attractive storefront. Spotless. Traditional Mexican fare. You will have a good meal. I am hard to please!

Overpriced for small portions and the tacos are not that good
